Development Standards The Ignia Network's development standards offer the assurance of a baseline levelof quality which will be exibited by all members of The Network. This offers clients the consistency and confidence they need to select and work with any company within The Network. Individual members of The Ignia Network may choose to complement these standards with their own internal guidelines; this is, in fact, encouraged. Under no circumstance, however, should a member not comply with these base level standards as this is critical to the promise of The Network. As such, before accepting new members into The Network their internal processes, quality assurance methods and understanding of the standards are carefully evaluated to ensure that they can maintain these commitments. The development standards include requirements pertaining to client compatibility, testing, documentation, code commenting and structure, architectural preferences and performance requirements. The standards are vendor agnostic although preference is naturally provided to technologies which support, fascilitate or complement The Ignia Network's standards. Further, it should go without saying that, where possible, The Ignia Network draws its standards from international and industry organizations suchas the W3C. |
